Educational Psychologist

On Monday My Sen Den was back at the Forum Library with SenSitive. They hosted a session on Educational Psychologists and EHCP’s, with guest speakers from OneEducation www.oneeducation.co.uk. They talked about how Educational Psychologists can help and support children with autism and other educational needs, when Ed Psyc reviews are required, the SEND Code of Practice (2014) and gave us advice on our rights as SEN Parents. It was a enlightening and some what emotional session but they really helped give us some perspective and clarity.

• autismunderstood.co.uk a website by Spectrum Gaming - that helps to explain what autism really is and lets us look at life through the lens of an autistic person

• Sparkle Box - www.sparklebox.co.uk - a website full of free resources for primary school children including a specialist SEND section
